Building a Green Future One Window at a Time

| TRACO
AS A Member Of The Green Community TRACO is working closely with the Department of Energy, Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory and trade organizations to develop innovative ways to increase the energy efficiency of windows and doors. We chair and fully support the Commercial Energy Star Program, and we are working under government grants to help establish energy standards for the industry. We are also the only commercial window manufacturer in the DOE's Rebuild America program which seeks to educate and provide information for energy efficiency measures. And, we have participated in numerous building projects aligned with the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) program. Each day, we take the green message to our customers. Through presentations, one-on-one consultations and energy modeling, we help them understand the economic and health and safety benefits of a green building and the critical role windows play in reducing energy usage. We are making progress, and we will continue our work to build a green future one window at a time.
