AAMA Specification
This Presentation will cover the major performance aspects of the ANSI/AAMA/NWWDA 101/1.S.2-97 "Voluntary Specifications for Windows and Sliding Glass Doors." This will also include the current AAMA rating system, what factors should be considered when selecting the proper window performance characteristics and a comparison of the current AAMA Specifications to the previous versions. Participants will also discover the benefits of including the current AAMA Specifications and AAMA Certified products in their bid documents, while maintaining the original quality and integrity of the overall project.

Architectural Window Technology
Participants of this presentation will discover why Architectural Windows (AW Grade) actually offer the highest level of performance and quality currently available. This presentation will also cover what additional testing is required to achieve this rating, when and where this product should be specified, and how, when used in conjunction with AAMA Certification, specifying these products can offer extended performance, lower maintenance costs and reduced liabilities.

Window Installation Guidelines and Detailing
This session will present proper window installation and detailing of various window products and accessories. From new construction to historic replacement, the various components and options will be discussed. This format includes prime window application, receptor systems, subsills, pannings and interior trims. Participants will gain a better understanding of how these components work, how they interface with surrounding substrates and optional accessories available to assist in reducing the overall cost of the project.
